lmk if you get it working! i've thought about trying to get it running on my steamdeck after seeing people play with controller+phone. there are people in the discord (under game-tips-forum) posting how to get the mobile apps working in the US (since its released in korea only atm). seems much easier to do with android than ios

the black window might be the log in prompt that pops up outside of maplestory worlds, mine opens up in my internet browser so it might be kinda hard to get that interaction to work in wine

tip for new players: be careful assigning your ap before your 1st job adv at level 10, i believe there are ap requirements for each job. for example: if you're doing thief job, i think you need 20 or 25 dex. so just save up some ap before your job adv so you can be sure you have enough. also if you're doing mage don't level up past 8 on maple island or you lose out on 1st job sp points

also there is no maple weapons so doing dexless/lukless/strless is not really worth it. i think low secondary stat is the move, i did 1 secondary stat per level up til 45, then you can use scrolled equips to hit the necessary reqs

also there is no hp and mp washing in this so don’t worry about that
